Dear Debbie,
This week, we’re focusing on the power of words and how they shape our lives and relationships. Words carry incredible weight - they can build up or tear down, heal or wound, inspire or discourage. The way we speak to ourselves and others has the power to influence our emotions, actions, and connections. God reminds us in Proverbs that “the tongue has the power of life and death.” This truth calls us to be mindful of our words, choosing to use them as tools for encouragement, love, and truth. Speaking with kindness and intention not only strengthens our relationships but also reflects God’s character in us.
Begin to take a pause before you speak, and consider the impact of your words. Use your voice to bring hope, healing, and positivity into the lives of those around you. And don’t forget to speak life over yourself, affirming the promises God has for you.
Here’s to a week of harnessing the power of words to uplift and inspire, building stronger relationships and deeper faith. Together, let’s choose words that bring life and reflect God’s love.
Reflecting and moving forward,
